West Wing

In fact, I have several thoughts about the most recent episode of the greatest television drama in history. In general, it would seem that, after several years in the wilderness, the West Wing has found its footing, just in time for the end of the series. The formation of the Santos Administration and the transition are things that the audience will care about, and I'm glad to see that they seem to have regained some focus and have stopped simply filling time.

Specifically, I am glad to see Sam back for nostalgia's sake. I'm glad that Josh and Donna have moved from a tawdry sexual relationship to something with substance. I'm glad to see President Bartlett and Santos collaborating in a fairly interesting way. And I'm glad to see that Teri Pollo has stopped being so icy and mean.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a president with a little gravitas.
